Terms & Conditions


Greenmans on the Hawkesbury accepts bookings completed online, over the phone or in person. We do not accept bookings from persons under 18 years of age. All guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult such as a parent or guardian. We reserve the right to cancel any reservation where this condition is not met.

Check In

Site check in – after 12pm

On-site Caravan hire check in – after 2pm

Check Out

Before 10am on day of departure. Late check out can be arranged.

Reception Hours

We request that guests arriving outside reception hours please contact the park reception during reception hours to make alternate arrangements.

Reception hours are:

Tuesday: – 9:00am – 5:00pm

Wednesday: – 9:00am – 5:00pm

Thursday: – 9:00am – 5:00pm

Friday: – 9:00am – 5:00pm

Saturday: – 9:00am – 5:00pm

Sunday: – Management/Staff on site

Monday: – Management/Staff on site

Hours are extended through peak periods, decreased during low season and will vary on public holidays. Please check our office door for current hours


A deposit is required to secure each reservation. For all bookings, a deposit equal to the first night’s accommodation/site rate must be paid at the time of making the reservation. Final payment is due at time of arrival.

Payment Options

Credit and Debit Card: Accepted for online bookings and phone bookings.

Cash: Accepted for bookings made in person at the park and as final payment on arrival.

Direct Deposit: Accepted for email bookings and phone bookings.

Cheques: Will only be accepted if received more than 4 weeks prior to arrival. If sending a cheque or money order, please record your full name, postal address, phone number and reservation dates on the reverse side.


If you cancel your booking, fees may be charged as per the following:

Off-Peak policy:

Cancellations made at least 48 hours prior to arrival will not incur a cancellation fee.

A credit may be requested which will be valid for 12 months from date of cancellation.

A refund may be issued subject to management approval.

Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to arrival will incur a cancellation fee equal to the first night’s accommodation/site rate.

Peak policy:

Cancellations made at least 14 days prior to arrival will not incur a cancellation fee.

A credit may be requested which will be valid for 12 months from date of cancellation.

A refund may be issued subject to management approval.

Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to arrival will incur a cancellation fee equal to the first night’s accommodation/site rate.

Peak Dates are the following –

  • Australia Day Long Weekend
  • Easter Long Weekend
  • The Queens Birthday Long Weekend
  • Labour Day Long Weekend
  • Christmas 24th December – 1st January

Any refunds due will be processed to the same payment method which was used to pay for the booking.


Credits are valid for 12 months from the date a booking was cancelled.

Day visits

Visitors are welcome in the park – registration is required at reception. Day Visitors fees are $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for children. If your guests stay overnight charges will apply as per normal tariff.

Boat ramp day use and day parking

Guests wishing to use our boat ramp and who are not visiting other guests or staying in the park, are welcome to do so. Boat ramp day use fees are $10.00 per car and $5.00 per boat trailer. $15.00 for a car with a boat trailer for the day.



Our tariffs quoted are current at the time of booking. Management reserves the right to amend or alter prices, sites and conditions at any time without notice.

Requested Sites

Every effort will be made to accommodate specific site and/or on-site hire caravan preferences. However these requests are subject to availability and are not guaranteed.


Linen is not provided in the on-site caravans for hire. Linen can be provided at a cost and with prior notice.


Greenmans on the Hawkesbury is unable to accommodate pets. Greenmans on the Hawkesbury has a strict NO DOG and NO PET policy. Any guest who brings their dog in to the park, regardless of the dogs size or behaviour, will be asked to leave the park and take the dog home. We love dogs and other pets; we just have an abundance of wildlife in the park that doesn’t.


Fires are permitted at the park. Guests may bring their own firepit and have a small fire at their campsite. It is the guests responsibility to ensure the fire is kept small, under control and is supervised at all times. Fires are to be extinguished with water. During the period that the NSW Rural Fire Service (RFS) declare a fire ban, fires are not prohibited in the park.

Maximum vehicle speed whilst within the park is 5 kph (slow walking pace). We have zero tolerance on speeds over 5kph. Please limit vehicle movement at all times.


Helmets must be worn at all times by both children and adults when riding bicycles.

Noise curfew

For the comfort of other park guests there is a noise curfew of 10pm every night.


You must ensure that persons under 18 years of age (minors) in your party are accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian at all times whilst at the park. You agree to take full responsibility for, and fully ensure the personal safety, welfare, and protection of all minors in your party at all times during their stay at the park.


You and your party must respect the comfort of others staying in the park at all times. Any unruly behaviour, excessive noise, drunkenness, illicit drug use, bad and/or offensive language will not be tolerated and may result in you and your party being evicted from the park without refund.

Safety Equipment

If we provide safety equipment in relation to undertaking recreational activities at the park, you and your party must use that safety equipment when undertaking the recreational activity.


Any monies or other valuables, goods or vehicles that belong to you or your party, or which you or your party bring in or on to the park, remain your responsibility and we are not responsible for their safekeeping.


Your purchase of any accommodation or other goods or services may be subject to certain laws, including statutory warranties under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to exclude or restrict the application of such laws but we do not give any guarantee or warranties or make any representation of any kind, express or implied outside of those laws.

We are not liable to you or anyone in your party and you agree to release us, indemnify and hold us harmless against and from all expenses, costs, liabilities, claims, actions, proceedings, damages, judgments and losses of any kind whatsoever (including consequential and economic losses, property loss/damage and damage for injury, including personal injury, or death) arising out of, caused by, attributable to or resulting from your booking or your stay at our park for any reason.

In accordance with applicable legislation, we reserve the right to protect our lawful interests and deter security incidents such as theft, vandalism, unruly behaviour and violence. We may operate, or appoint third parties to operate on our behalf, CCTV cameras in the park which, if operational, will be visible.


Park management wishes to warn all persons who engage in any activity for recreation, enjoyment, leisure or relaxation on or near the park are undertaken solely at the risk of the participant and that the pursuit of such activities involves the risk of harm or serious personal injury including death, drowning, head, eye or spinal injury, paralysis, broken limbs or strains. Prior to undertaking any such activity, all occupants, guests or other persons should ensure and be satisfied that they are aware of all risks involved, including those risks associated with any pre-existing health condition.

Such activities and facilities are varied and may include: swimming pools, water activities, bicycle riding, operation of vehicles, sporting and childrens’ activities, interaction with wildlife, waterways, water courses, trips, falls and collisions including interaction with other guests and their property; walking or running over uneven surfaces and grounds, tiled surfaces and wet areas which may result in slips, trips or falls; walking in unlit / poorly lit areas which may require a person to provide and carry a torch or other form of lighting; activities (including camping) with exposure to the natural environment (flora & fauna) including the risk of falling tree limbs. All persons who engage in recreational activities do so at their own risk. Children and infants must be supervised by an adult at all times.

By entering the park, it is accepted that all activities including recreational activities are not free of risk and that park management is not liable for any loss, damage or injury arising from such activities. On entry, it is also agreed that park management, owners, employees are indemnified against all claims for injury, loss, damage or theft of property.

Swimming Pool

Use of the swimming pool and associated facilities may result in, and not limited to, serious personal injury including death, drowning, head, eye or spinal injury, paralysis, broken limbs, strains, or lacerations. Diving, bombing, flips, somersaults, inverted manoeuvres into the water are dangerous and are prohibited, as is running, pushing, taking glass into the pool area and/or drinking alcohol.

Other risks include diving head first, slips, trips, falls, running on wet surfaces and not providing adequate supervision to children. 

Privacy Policy

We collect information when you make a booking on our website and in person at our park to allow you to make a reservation at our park. The information we collect to do this includes your name, address, and contact details, along with details of your stay with us (arrival, departure time and number of other guests) as well as any preferences or requests you have (specific sites or a location in our park). We may also collect information about your vehicles including registration number and the make, model and dimensions of any caravans or trailers that are the subject of your reservation. The only transactional information we collect at booking is confirmation of payment, payment type and details or balance owing.
