The road to the park is roughly 1.8km down a steep decline with tarred corners and gravel straights and, depending on the recent weather conditions, may have an uneven surface/potholes. There are places to pull over nearer to the top of the road with the bottom third being one lane only. We are more than happy to ‘block’ off the road upon your entry and exit so you have the use of the full road and peace of mind that no one else is coming up or going down in the opposite direction to your travel.
